Thanks to a huge boost in Bitcoin, GPU prices are exploding and supply is dwindling. 2 articles I've seen at TechSpot and PC Mag explain the situation nicely. As of right now, Bitcoin is sitting at $34,627.70. But, only people with access to cheap power and who can buy GPUs or ASICS at reduced rates can afford to actually mine Bitcoin.
